TWO WRENS
Two wrens there were upon a tree:
Whistle and I’ll come to thee;
Another came, and there were three:
Whistle and I’ll come to thee;
Another came, and there were four.
You needn’t whistle any more,
And there are none to show to you.
For, being frightened, off they flew.
